Tessa Ridley, RMT

Tessa was introduced to Massage Therapy at a very young age and has always believed in the power of positive touch. She is a graduate from Utopia Academy in Vancouver and received her RMT certification after completing the 3000-hour program, which included over 550 hours of clinical experience.

During her training she had extensive outreach experience providing massage for women. She spent time in various settings applying therapeutic pregnant massage for mothers that were both pre and post-natal. She is passionate about human physiology and believes that as a pregnant mother’s body undergoes many changes, seeing an RMT is very beneficial.

There is solace in the time one takes out of their busy life to help themselves repair. Everyone deserves the opportunity to receive treatment and be the leader in his or her road to equilibrium. Massage Therapy plays a key role in this process and everyday I am committed to learning more about how to help others achieve this goal.

Tessa has found great outcomes in treating low back and breast pain associated with menstruation, constipation, headaches and migraines, post-surgical and post trauma scar tissue and has recently taken continued education courses in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

She is enthusiastic about manual therapy and desires to aid others to discover a comfortable balance between the physical body and the nervous system.
