Lori Main, B.A., RMT
Lori Main received her four-year Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1991. After moving to BC in 1994, she attended the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver and received her diploma in Massage Therapy. Upon graduation in 1997, she earned her license to practice in both British Columbia and Ontario and has been in private practice in Vancouver ever since.
Initially focusing on sports and rehabilitation massage therapy, Lori gained expertise in deep tissue, myofascial and neuromuscular techniques. Her understanding of the importance of musculo-skeletal balance and the significance of structure's contribution to function allows her to offer therapy to a wide range of injuries and complaints.
My inquisitive nature has led me to ask more questions of the body's intricate, inter-related systems so that an even greater range of presenting symptoms can be treated and their root causes identified.
To this end, Lori has undertaken further training in cranial osteopathy, visceral manipulation, zero balancing and lymphatic drainage therapy. Lori continues to advance her skills, knowledge, understanding and intuition with coursework, practice and personal mentorships.
